7 Bookable Cairo Airport Lounges (CAI): 2026 Guide
Cairo International Airport (CAI) has bookable lounges in Terminals 1, 2 and 3. The terminal printed on your booking matters more than any airport-wide ranking: the lounges are after security and passport control, so you need one in the terminal and international departure area used by your flight.
The seven choices below currently have individual booking pages. Several use similar CAC, Plaza Premium or AHLEIN names, so check both the terminal number and the specific Terminal 3 zone before booking.

Terminal 1 lounge
Terminal 1 has one lounge in the current online-pass set. It is for international departures and sits after security and passport control.
- CAC Lounge by Plaza Premium & EAS (Terminal 1): Airside on Level 2 of the international departure hall. Plaza Premium directs passengers straight ahead after passport control, then up in the elevator at the end of the hall. The lounge provides food and drinks, Wi-Fi, charging and flight information.
Terminal 2 lounges
Terminal 2 has the largest selection in this guide. All three choices are for international or transit passengers after security and passport control, but they occupy different levels and positions in the departure flow.
- CAC Lounge by Plaza Premium & EAS (Terminal 2): Airside on Level 1, approximately one minute beyond the second security screening and before Duty Free. Plaza Premium lists a children's room, quiet area, food and drinks, Wi-Fi and flight information.
- AHLEIN Premium Lounge (Terminal 2): On the ground floor after security and passport control. Priority Pass directs passengers right before Duty Free and currently lists 24-hour operation, with a three-hour maximum stay under its access conditions.
- AHLEIN Emerald Lounge (Terminal 2): On the first floor above immigration after security and passport control. It is a separate product from the ground-floor AHLEIN Premium Lounge, so use the lounge name and floor shown on your booking.

Terminal 3 lounges
Terminal 3 has three different bookable products in the current set. The general Terminal 3 AHLEIN lounge, Zone E lounge and seasonal lounge are not interchangeable locations.
- AHLEIN Premium Lounge (Terminal 3): After security and passport control near Gate G. Priority Pass directs passengers right from Duty Free and currently lists the lounge as open around the clock, with a three-hour maximum stay under its conditions.
- CAC Lounge by Plaza Premium & EAS (Terminal 3E): Airside on the third floor. After passport control, turn left toward Zone E and continue to the end of the corridor. This is the correct Plaza-linked option for passengers departing through Terminal 3E.
- CAC Seasonal Lounge by Plaza Premium & EAS (Terminal 3S): On the ground floor of the seasonal departure hall after passport control. Plaza Premium describes this as a smaller lounge for the seasonal area, so do not book it unless your flight uses Terminal 3S.
How to avoid booking the wrong CAI lounge
Check your airline's current terminal before buying access, then match the terminal and zone shown on the pass. Cairo's repeated lounge names make the terminal number essential. If your airline changes terminal or your boarding documents show a different zone, confirm with the lounge provider before arrival rather than assuming you can move between secure departure areas.
When a hotel is the better choice
A lounge is useful for a shorter international departure wait. Choose an airport hotel for an overnight connection, a long landside stop, or when uninterrupted sleep matters. Leave enough time to return to the correct terminal and repeat security and immigration formalities where required.
