Sao Paulo Guarulhos Airport (GRU) has lounges in all three passenger terminals, but the right choice starts with your flight rather than a single airport-wide ranking. Terminal 1 serves Azul domestic flights, Terminal 2 handles domestic and international operations, and Terminal 3 is the main long-haul international terminal. You should use a lounge in your departure terminal and on the correct side of security.
The eight lounges below currently have individual booking pages. GRU also has airline, bank-card and membership lounges that are not sold as general online passes, so this is a guide to the bookable choices rather than a claim that the airport has only eight lounges.

Terminal 1 lounge
Terminal 1 is the Azul domestic terminal, with gates numbered 101 to 109. Its lounge choice is much simpler than Terminal 2 or Terminal 3.
- W Lounge (Terminal 1): On the Terminal 1 mezzanine. GRU Airport currently lists it as open 24 hours and accepting several lounge-access programs as well as payment at reception. It is the practical lounge choice for passengers departing on Azul domestic flights from Terminal 1.
Terminal 2 lounges
Terminal 2 serves both domestic and international flights, so a generic 'Terminal 2 lounge' recommendation is not enough. Check whether the lounge is before security, in domestic departures, or in international departures before paying.
- Plaza Premium Lounge Landside: In the public area near Check-in D. This is the flexible Terminal 2 choice if you have not passed security, have just arrived, or are meeting someone who is not flying.
- W Lounge (Terminal 2): In the domestic West departure area beside Duty Free and near Gate 201. This suits domestic passengers whose access program or paid pass points to W Lounge.
- Plaza Premium Lounge Domestic: Airside for Terminal 2 domestic departures. Plaza Premium lists food and drinks, Wi-Fi, work areas, showers and a family area, making it the clearest broad paid-access choice for a domestic flight.
- GOL Premium Lounge Domestic: In the Terminal 2 domestic departure area. GOL says this lounge is for domestic passengers and publishes eligibility through GOL/Smiles and partner-airline rules, while paid access is also offered through GOL channels or at its service desk.
- GOL Premium Lounge International: In the Terminal 2 international departure area. Use this version only for an international flight; GOL lists separate access rules for international passengers.
Tip:Do not confuse landside with airside.The Plaza Premium landside lounge is before security. The domestic Plaza Premium, W and GOL lounges are after security in the domestic flow, while the international GOL lounge is in the international flow.
Terminal 3 lounges
Terminal 3 handles most long-haul international flights. Its bookable products include a paid W Premium option and the LATAM lounge, but access conditions can differ substantially.
- W Premium Lounge - The Pier: Airside in Terminal 3 near gates 323 and 324. This is the clearer paid-pass choice when you want to book lounge access independently of an airline ticket or elite status.
- LATAM VIP Lounge: On the Terminal 3 international mezzanine. GRU lists this as a 24-hour lounge, but LATAM and oneworld cabin, status and guest rules remain important. Check that your ticket or membership qualifies before treating it as your default choice.
Other GRU lounges
